Sardanas for piano

Sardanas, popular Catalan dance, written for piano by four different composers, three of them vacationers in Cerdanya, thus leaving a musical memory of their pleasant stay. Puigcerdà and Font-Romeu are the protagonists of the ten sardanas, showing their relevance during the first half of the 20th century. Most of them belong to the tradition of concert sardanas, within which sardanas for various formations and for piano have been written and transcribed during the last century.
